DATAGRO

DATAGRO is the largest consultancy of ethanol and sugar in Brazil and one of the largest in the world. Its team consists of more than 40 employees, concentrating their forces in the head office located in São Paulo, and in four other units – New York (USA), Recife, Santos and Ribeirão Preto. The team is constantly recycling knowledge to keep up and evolve as a center of excellence in providing services to the sugar and biofuel sectors worldwide. Through innovative and differentiated analyses it provides tools for better understanding of the market, adding value to commercial and strategic positioning of its customers and partners.

As a consultant of ethanol and sugar, DATAGRO has advised the Brazilian government and other countries on initiatives related to energy planning (ethanol, gasoline and other biofuels), deregulation of industry, integration and trade disputes. In addition, DATAGRO is continuously fighting for the development of initiatives on biofuels in different countries around the world.

DATAGRO was established in 1984 by Dr. Plínio M. Nastari, graduated in business administration and doctor in agricultural economy by the Iowa State University (ISU).

The customers’ base of Datagro is spread in five continents in over 41 countries and is comprised of sugar, ethanol and biodiesel producers, trading companies, banks, fuel distributors, input suppliers, governments, investment funds, logistic companies and information agencies.
